From Ethiopia. Composer/arranger/vibraphonist known as the 'Father of Ethio-jazz.' The first African student at Berklee, he fused jazz with Ethiopian traditional music to create a sound entirely his own. Rediscovered globally through the 'Broken Flowers' soundtrack.
